Describe your group/organization

The organization “Wings of hope” works with aim to meet the interests of disabled children and promote their integration in the society; giving help to children in need and their parents and encourage a positive attitude to involve disabled children in social life.

We, youth group (organization volunteers, youth who have disabled brothers and sisters and youth who have some kind of disability just not child anymore), are from 13 to 18, for now we are 2 boys and 5 girls, but we are sure that we will be more.
We know and trust that our brothers and sisters, and friends who have some kind of disability can do same things as physically and mentally healthy persons.

What do you want to do?

Culture through nature.
As in nowadays we become so busy and blankly, we even do not know or already forget our traditions which connect tightly with our nature.
So in our project we want to learn our traditional food, special activities, songs, costume etc., about one particular event which connect with nature, like St. John’s Day or Midsummer Day, maybe about St. Martin’s Day.
We want to make real event with all preparation and celebrate it. Then we would like to learn about other country traditions and realize it as well. Then put together both country traditions and făcute our traditions.
We would like to make exchange with one partner country.

Our group consists of youth with kind of mental and physical disability and without, we are mixed, so we expect to meet same group, then it will be easier to involve all participants in all activities.
